If you call us with a question about your tea, you might find yourself talking to the very
person who blended it. That’s how small Maison Tisane is. We run the business ourselves,
with no employees. We develop our own recipes and blend the herbs by hand when you place
your order. Here’s where AI helps us with the work that goes into our website.
1. From our worktable to your screen
We don’t have a professional photography studio. We still want you to be able to see what
a blend looks like, both loose and in its packaging. AI helps us do that. We can edit a
product photo, change the background or bring photos of our herbs and a glass jar together
in a single scene. Sometimes we use AI to create an entirely new image.
The plant images on our botanical pages can look like photographs. These are AI images
showing details such as a leaf or a plant in bloom. We also use an AI image generator
for the scenes that accompany our blog articles. A table laid for tea in one of our
articles can look perfectly real, even though nobody set the table for a photograph.
You’ll find a short note about the images on our blog and botanical pages. For teas,
herbal blends and accessories, you can read the note in the caption when you open
a product image.
2. Who writes and reviews our articles?
We use AI as a writing aid for our blog articles and other website copy. Sometimes we’re
looking for a simpler word or a clearer way to organise a paragraph. Before anything
goes online, we read the full text ourselves, check it for accuracy and approve the
final version. We take responsibility for everything you read here.
3. When you call, email or message us
Wondering how coarsely a blend is cut or how the lid on a tea tin closes? Just ask.
When you call, you’ll speak to one of us. We answer our emails and messages ourselves,
too. We don’t use AI for customer enquiries, and there’s no chatbot on this website.
4. Your personal data and AI training
Personal information you send us through a form on this website is never used to
train AI models.
