Our botanical selection

In our shop you’ll find three categories. Blends are herbal infusions (tisanes) not made from the tea plant. Tea refers to “true tea” from Camellia sinensis (such as white, green, oolong, black, and pu-erh). Accessories are all the tools for brewing and serving.

The dosha effect refers to how botanical ingredients help bring body and mind into balance according to Ayurvedic principles. Ayurveda distinguishes three doshas — Vata, Pitta and Kapha — each of which responds differently to herbs and tea. A balancing effect supports harmony and equilibrium, while an increasing effect enhances these qualities and is therefore chosen with greater care.

Thermal energy describes a blend’s warming or cooling effect in Ayurvedic tradition: some ingredients are considered cooling, others heating. This is independent of the temperature at which you drink the tea. Use this filter to choose blends that match how you want to feel.
