Why we love this tea
A powerful, spicy infusion that helps awaken and balance the Kapha dosha in the Ayurvedic tradition. Cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric create a warm, vibrant core, deepened by cardamom and clove. Rosemary and hyssop bring brightness, while marjoram adds softness and balance. A cup that warms from within and lets the inner fire glow gently.
Infusion ritual
- Dosage : 1-3 heaping teaspoons of loose herbs per cup (2-3 grams per 250 ml)
- Water : Pour the hot water (95 °C) over the herbs
- Time : Steep gently for 7 - 10 minutes, letting the herbs dance freely in the cup
- Tip : Cover the cup or teapot during infusion — this way, the volatile essential oils and the warmth are preserved.

Quick check before you pour

Learn more about the health warnings
- Cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum verum): A warm hug in your mug. Cassia contains coumarin; moderate if you have a sensitive liver.
- Ginger pieces (Zingiber officinale): Warms you up, but in high doses may thin your blood. Take care if you use anticoagulants.
- Black pepper (Piper nigrum): Wakes up flavours and may boost absorption of some medicines. Check if you use potent medication.
- Turmeric root (Curcuma longa): Golden glow, but it stimulates the gallbladder and mildly thins blood. Avoid with gallstones unless advised.
- Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis): Spicy lift, but large amounts may trigger cramps; avoid during pregnancy or if you have epilepsy.
